Flying a Kite

On one perfect windy day in March Skye & I went over to her grandma & grandpas house and we flew a kite :) It was so much fun!

For our anniversary we decided to get a hotel in Salt Lake and go see the Miranda Lambert concert with Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. My parents watched Skye for us. We had such an amazing time. The whole time we were smiling and laughing and singing as loud as we could. We had fun making fun of the guy holding the kettle corn popcorn and cotton candy thing. It was such a great night! The next day we got up and went to get some food and it took us an hour and half for us to find somewhere we thought looked good. Then Jordan took his first trip to Ikea! We had such a great time together, it was so nice just being together and having fun. I love him more than anything in the whole world, I couldn't ask for anyone better!!

Skye's 1st haircut!

I know I am so behind... On February 27 I FINALLY took Skye to get her haircut...I have been putting it off forever because I know it was going to be sad, but I actually did ok and Skye did GREAT! Of course she did, I don't know why I would expect anything different, she is always so good. We cut a little bit of the back and cut her bangs out of her eyes and she did so good the whole time. She just sat there and looked down when she needed to and was just perfect. Her haircut is adorable and I just love it...she's needing another haircut already! I love my sweet little girl, she is so amazing.

We bought a house!!!

As of March 9th 2012 we were officially home owners :) weird lol. We only looked at houses for about 2 or 3 months. When we walked into our house we just looked at each other and both nodded and said yeah this is it. It was just perfect for us. We knew instantly when we walked in this was our home, now that we are living in it we know for sure this house was meant to be ours :) It is 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom & 2 living room. At first I thought it was a little big for us, but it's just perfect. Skye has a toyroom! Lucky little girl. We have plenty of room if family or anyone comes to visit. It doesn't need any work at all, but I do want to paint. I want to do Skye's room a cute dark brown and pink. In our room I want new carpet and then I want 3 pretty tan walls and 1 red wall :) The first thing I want to do is paint our front door and our shutters red! I can't wait to do that. The weather has been AMAZING lately so hopefully we can do that soon!!! We still haven't hung up all of our pictures we have just been too busy and kind of lazy. We absolutely love our little home, it's so crazy how far we have come in just a couple years, we are so blessed!
