2 years sweeter

Well they say your 1st year of marriage is either your happiest or your hardest, ours was defiantly the hardest. That makes me happy in a way because it proved to us and to everyone that we can make it through anything together. Our 2nd year of marriage was defiantly better and I have a feeling it will just get better and better from here. I know there will be some hard times and some struggles but we have already been through "hell" together and we made it out stronger than ever. We can get through anything together, we are a great team. Some of our favorite things are playing with our adorable little girl, watching tons of movies, and just hanging out together. He loves me for exactly who I am and I love him for everything he is. I'm happy we made it to 2 years together :) I can't wait for the next 80 years together!!! It's better to work hard and work through everything than to just give up and go on, that's how we work and I love him.

My all time favorite quote is "So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day."
Another of my favorites is "Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing." haha reminds me of us :)

Denese is amazing and took our anniversary pictures for us :) They are absolutely perfect.

I LOVE this one!!

Skye's sick :(

Well today I was talking to Denese about Skye not feeling too good, she told me to take her to instacare and just get her checked out real quick. I am so glad I did, I don't know what I would do without you D. My poor little girl is sick and having to take medicine for the first time her whole life! She has had a fever since Friday and just wasn't feeling good at all today. I took her to instacare and they jabbed her throat with those q-tip looking things and then we had to get some chest x-rays done, in the weirdest device I have ever seen. It like held her arms above her head so she couldn't move and she was just crying the whole time :(  Poor little thing has strep throat. That is the worst, I absolutely hate strep throat and for a little baby I'm sure it's even worse because she can't tell me what she wants or how she is feeling. So she now has to take amoxicillin 3 times a day for 10 days. I am so lucky that this is the first time she has been sick (other than a cold like 2 times) in 18 months! But I am just so sad to see her so miserable :( It just breaks my heart.

She has her tissue to blow her nose, about to go to grandma & grandpas house 2/11/12

Poor thing :(

Then along comes a baby girl...

In December 2009 we found out we were expecting a little bundle of joy. I worked at a restaurant and I remember my boss told me one day you are sure eating a lot, I bet your pregnant. I thought there's no way! So I get to thinking...my period should of started 2 days ago... So Jordan picked me up from work and we went to the store. I remember he was in the bathroom with me and we did it together. We sat and waited and those 2 minutes felt like 2 hours. SURPRISE it was positive. Jordan is jumping up and down and so happy and all I can do is sit on the bed and stare at this little piece of plastic that just completely instantly changed my whole entire life. I remember calling my dad to tell him, I don't think I have ever been that nervous or worried. We were already engaged but we hadn't really set a date yet, well we set one that night. December 29, 2009 was the first time we got to see our little peanut. I only threw up 3 times my whole pregnancy. Skye you are seriously the best baby ever, even from the very beginning. March 12, 2010 was the first time we felt her move. She did it 3 times, the first time I didn't know what was going on, the second time I put my hand and felt it and the third time I put Jordans hand on my tummy. That was such a special moment in our life. We were going to name her Kailey Nadine Robinson, we decided to change your name April 18 while we were driving to Florida, I remember we stopped at a Tractor Supply to get some stuff for the horses and I had a list and Jordan & I talked about it and decided Skye was perfect. I was really happy about being 6 months pregnant and still wearing (and buttoning) a size 4! I remember having to chase a loose horse around a field full of spiders for 3 hours, that was so not fun in the middle of a super hot day in Florida. We went to the beach all the time, almost every weekend. All I could do was lay on a boogie board in the water, I remember trying so hard to get seashells off the bottom of the ocean and I couldn't get under and get any because of my big belly :) The last time we went to the beach was 4 days before I had her. About June 15 I decided there wasn't any more room in my belly for Skye, but of course I still had 2 months to go. The one bad thing about my pregnancy was the acid reflux, it was horrible! Skye had the hiccups ALL the time, it was my favorite thing to watch my belly jump. We went deep sea fishing July 4, so I was 36 weeks pregnant, it was actually pretty fun. I woke up around 12 a.m. August 3rd (her due date) and waited until 2 a.m. to go to the hospital. I was dilated to a 3 at 4:10 a.m. they gave me pitocin to speed up labor and 1 mg of morphine at 10 a.m. and that is all the pain medicine I had until after she was here. My water broke at 12:41 and Skye was out at 1:09. She weighed 8 pounds and 10 oz. On August 20 she weighed 9 pounds 1 oz. Skye's first time at the beach was August 29, 2010. For her first Halloween she was a purple spider. October 11 she weighed 12 pounds 11 oz. October 16 was the first time she rolled all the way over! October 28 we took Skye to see Secretariat and she was so good and sat through the whole thing, now she won't even sit through 15 minutes. She has traveled so much and she's so young! She was born in Tampa, Florida, then we drove all the way to Texas. Then from Texas drove to Colorado, then to Utah. Her first time in Las Vegas was in October 2011. She is going to grow up to love traveling like her mom. December 14, 2010 she weighed 15.5 pounds and was 25.5 inches tall! This is some of the stuff that has happened up until December 2010. I will add more later. Skye has been the funnest, scariest, happiest and best thing that has happened to us. I do not know what I would do without her. She brought us closer than we could've ever imagined. She has taught us so much about life and love. I love every single minute of every single day. Being a mom is the most amazing and the best thing I will ever be.
