Cute things Skye says/does right now

I really don't want to forget anything about Skye growing up. She says the CUTEST things all the time. I never thought being a parent would be so much fun and that I would love it so much! It's only because I have an amazing little girl ;)

• Yips (This is our FAVORITE right now, she means lips)
• Tana and Jordan (She's been telling me no Tana a lot lately)
• Her ABC's (she skips "y" & "z")
• She replaces her "l" for "y" so like Eli would be Ei, little would be yeyel, adorable!
• She can count to 10 already!
• She knows all her colors (black, white, brown, orange, red, pink, purple, green, yellow and blue
• This morning when Jordan was taking her into daycare and she saw all the snow she said "holy cap dad, holy cap (holy crap lol, I know you may think it's bad, but it could be worse!)
• Cuz why?
• I yove you more
• I LOVE how she calls both my parents Grammy :) 
• She loves to jump on the bed (jumpy jumpy)
• Her favorite movies right now are Finding nemo, monster house, cars 2, the nightmare before Christmas (the past 4 days in a row) & puss in boots
• shut in boots (puss in boots) & humpty dumpty
• Twinkle Twinkle little star
• I love that she will tell me no or that she doesn't want to do something, it makes me so proud that she is already so independent and knows what she wants!
• She loves long boarding with her bubba 
• It is IMPOSSIBLE for her to hear music and not dance (one of my most favorite things about her)
• I love how every night she has to sleep with a million different things in her bed (books, puzzle, buzz, woody, jessie, her barbie, dinosaur, ponies, owl, nemo and her buffalo. 

She is just such an amazing little person. She has the best manners of any 2 year old I've ever seen. She has such a great personality. She loves to make you smile. I LOVE when I am making dinner or something and she just comes up to me and hugs my leg and tells me she loves me. I love her so dang much. I am so blessed!

I wanted to go take some cute pictures of Skye with the pumpkins....well that didn't happen, I don't know how Denese does it! I tried, here are some of the pictures! Skye's favorite part was pulling the wagon & trying to pick all the pumpkins up. Every time I would sit her down and tell her just one picture she would say "no I no want to" I love my little girl so much!!

New haircut!

Courtney & I decided to go get haircuts! I was way scared at first but I'm loving bangs! I haven't had bangs since I was a little kid. It's a little hard having to straighten them in the morning, but it's worth it!

Fall colors

We decided to take a little drive up Black Smith Fork Canyon after work one day to take in all the beautiful fall colors. I am so glad we did! We live in such an amazingly beautiful place. We found this cute little park on our drive and decided to stop and play. Skye's favorite part was throwing rocks in the water, and the playground of course! Here's lots of pictures! Skye's first visit to the Emergency Room

Well last weekend I gave Skye a shower and I was putting on her lotion and she was burning up! So I went to Ridleys, bought a thermometer and took her temp in the parking lot, it was 101.9. That was a little high, so I called Neesee and asked her what she thought, she told me instacare was open maybe I should just run her over there real quick. I get to instacare, get checked in and everything and when they took Skye's temperature it had gone from 101.9 to 102.9 in just that amount of time. Her heart rate is normally supposed to be between 80-110 and it was 167. So they gave her some ibuprofen and we waited for the doctor to come in. He comes in and listens to her lungs and her heart rate is still so high, he tells me I need to take her to the Emergency Room right now, they can't/don't really know how to deal with things like that. So I am FREAKING out, Jordan won't answer his phone, I call Denese and I can barely tell her what's going on because I'm crying. She tells me either her or my dad will come up there with me. I get to the emergency room and they take us back, give her some Tylenol and tell me her heart rate is up because her high fever. They watch her for a little while and her temperature goes down. I had to get her to pee in a cup so they could test her for a Urinary Tract Infection, that comes up negative. They just tell me keep giving her Tylenol and ibuprofen and watch her. We take her home and I gave her more medicine that night and before I left for work in the morning (Jordan was also sick throwing up, so he stayed home with her) and she was totally fine after that. I was so scared, and now I can say our first trip to the emergency room is over and it turned out fine! Being a mom can be so hard and scary sometimes. I always want to do the best and right thing for Skye. I hope I can be the best mom possible for her!

Cute crafts with Courtney

So every Friday, Courtney & Zen come over and we have Ghost Adventure/Craft Friday. We make dinner start on our crafts and watch Ghost Adventures. We have done some freaking adorable ones! I can't wait to start on our Christmas ones :) I love spending time with them, they are awesome!

Jordan's birthday

This year for Jordan's 24 birthday, we went to eat at The Bluebird with Courtney & Zen, then came home and had some chocolate and strawberry cake. We are getting a little boring as we get older. My parents stopped by to say hello and visit. When we sang happy birthday, Jordan sang happy birthday Skye lol (she LOVES birthdays!) and we re-lit the candles at least 5 times for Skye to blow out :) It was a great day surrounded by the people we love. I love him so much. I am so thankful to have him as my husband, partner in crime, and the perfect other half of me. We may argue, and sometimes I swear I don't like him, but I will always love him. I am so thankful we have each other and we have a beautiful little girl. Life is great!
