Potty training

When I bought the last case of diapers, I was putting it in the basket and I just thought (had a feeling) I want this to be last case of diapers I buy. We went and let Skye pick out her big girl panties, she was doing good but still having a couple of accidents. About a week into it we got her a little step stool to put in front of the potty so she could get up there herself. That was all we needed! She hasn't had any accidents since then, she has been doing amazingly!! I am so proud of my little girl. She just goes in the bathroom and she does it all by herself. The only time she gets a diaper on is at night when she goes to bed, but the last few days she hasn't even needed that. She is just so dang smart! In a way I'm not quite ready for her to be potty trained (not that I have a choice, it's done) It's just one more step to her growing up and it makes me a little sad, but I am beyond proud of her. She does so great all the time, in town, at daycare everywhere I just don't even worry about it anymore. She did so well that we went and got her 3 new Monster High barbie dolls. She LOVES them! And I love her :)

She loves them!

One of my favorite things about being her mommy!
She looks so grown up!

Just for fun pictures

My friend Gavin is just starting out his photography career. He needed some portraits and so I thought why not! I love pictures and it was so cold but so much fun!
P.s. I saved the best for last

Skyes 1st time sledding!

My parents called me one Saturday and asked what we were doing, nothing of course, all I do during winter is hibernate. So they asked if we wanted to go sledding. At first I said sure you can come pick up Skye and have fun, then about 5 minutes before they got here I realized it was her first time sledding and I just didn't want to miss out on that. I am SO glad I went. Skye had a BLAST! She kept wanting to go faster and faster. We started off at Millville school doing the little hill there and she absolutely loved it.  Then we went to the big hill by the church. It was so much fun, although I did learn I'm not the best at sledding. The first time down I went with Ajia and she totally got covered with snow. Then I decided to go down with Skye, my poor child. About half way down we went side ways then turned around backwards, I just remember everyone staring at us and me just praying that we didn't run into anyone. Somehow we turned back around and just got blasted with snow. I barely had ahold of Skye and of course we get to the bottom and she's just smiling! Neesee couldn't stop laughing at us and I couldn't either, I was just glad we survived! This is what life is about, wonderful memories like that. I'm so thankful to have my parents in our life. They are amazing and I couldn't do it without them.

She loves Bubba!

No hands!
