Sick and tired...literally

I have officially been sick since August 14.... At first I had strep throat. Then about 2 weeks later I was feeling HORRIBLE and I went back to the doctor because I couldn't move my neck and I had a headache for 6 days straight. Well turns out I have mono. With mono your white blood cells are supposed to be low, mine were high, so on top of mono I also had a bacteria infection. I was on 1,000 mg of antibiotics and pain medicine. There's nothing you can do for mono except sleep (that's kind of hard with a 3 year old and a full time job) So I've been doing the best I can. I have only missed one day of work since I found out I had mono which is pretty dang amazing. I don't know how to explain mono. It is so horrible, I would much rather throw up for 4 or 5 days then have this crap. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired 24/7. I remember there was one day I had to take Skye to the doctor at 5. I got off work, went home and told my mom. She had to drive me, I couldn't even stay awake to tell her where to go, I couldn't get out of the car to take Skye in, my mom had to, I stayed in the car and slept in the parking lot. Then I slept the whole way home, I got home went straight to bed and fell asleep instantly. I woke up for about 30 minutes and took a shower and went right back to sleep until I had to wake up for work the next day. In the mornings it is SO hard for me to get out of bed. Every single day I think to myself I'm just going to call in and stay home, I can't go to work, but everyday I force myself to get up and go. I am probably pushing myself just a little too hard but I don't know what else I can do. I feel horrible because I am missing out on life because literally all I want to do is sleep whenever I possibly can. I feel bad for my family because I have been a zombie lately and can barely get out of bed or off the couch. It will get better eventually. I've heard it lasts anywhere from 6 weeks to 4 months... 4 weeks and counting...

Snuggling, trying not to get sick :)
