Dark hair

I have a problem with dying my hair. I get bored way to easily and I can't seem to keep the same color/cut for too long. My sweet husband helped me dye my hair, he always says this is the last time I swear... but when I ask he always will help me. That is just another reason I love him so much :)

New year...not so new me

Well we spent our New years day at home relaxing. Jordan had to work the next day and I took it off to spend a little more time at home with my baby girl. It's a new year, people make all kinds of resolutions that they rarely keep. I'm just not that kind of girl. My only "resolution" is to just slow down and enjoy every single moment I have. I don't have any crazy things I want to try and accomplish or any weight I want to try and loose. I just want to enjoy this year and the amazing people I have to spend it with. I have been thinking a lot about life lately and just how amazing life really is. Everyone is always in such a hurry to do this and do that and just if I can just do this I will finally be happy instead of just being happy with what you have. I have so much in my life to be thankful for. I am completely happy with just the way things are, sure having more money would be better, having a nice new car would be great, not having to work would be awesome, but we are so blessed to have everything we do, life could be so so much worse. I have a wonderful, healthy, happy, amazing little girl. I have an awesome husband who loves us more than anything. I am healthy and able to work and able to enjoy life so it's time I start doing just that. I am just 100% happy with the way I am. There will always be people who don't like me or want me to change and that's just too damn bad. I am who I am. It took me a very long time to understand that and I am just so happy I finally do. My only goal this year is not to rush anything and just take a deep breath and enjoy everything that happens. Yes some things may such super bad but you have to have a little bad with the good and just remember that things could always be so much worse.

Our trip home

We had such a great time, we weren't ready to come home!! We will see them again soon hopefully. On our way home we got to Salt Lake around 8:45-9ish. Skye did so great on the way home. She watched movies the whole time and she even let me take a little nap :) What a wonderful child I have!! When we landed in Salt Lake we got off the plane and were walking to baggage claim and I realized that we left our keys in the diaper bag, in Jordans moms car.... GREAT! So we called and we were trying to figure out what to do. Well Jordan called a locksmith and had him meet us and the place we parked our car. So 10:30 new years eve we are freezing (thankfully the park n jet people were nice enough to let us sit inside their building and wait for the locksmith) he finally gets there and our doors were unlocked and he made us a new ignition key. Of course my car has a chip in it....well need less to say 2 hours $348 dollars later we were on our way home. We spent our new years kiss in the parking lot of In-N-Out burger. It is a new years eve we will never forget! Good thing....we have a spare key now.

We got to spend a couple hours with Jordans mom, step dad and brothers. We went to eat lunch and went to Walmart to get Skye some toys and went to the arcade and played games. I'm glad we got to see them for a little while!

Christmas 2012

Before we left for Texas we went to my Grandparents house and had a Christmas party there, we got tons of stuff. Then we went to my parents house and opened presents there. My brother Brayden gave us the most amazing present I have ever received. He drew the most beautiful picture of Skye. Christmas was amazing. We woke up and opened presents, we got spoiled rotten!! Jordan and I got a new laptop, I got some jeans, under armour sweats, tons of new make up and clothes! Jordan got some sweats, knives, new controllers for xbox. Skye got the Lorax, Ice Age 3, Paranorman, Brave, a leap pad 2 and tons of clothes!! Stacey & I spent the day in kitchen cooking and talking and laughing. I love her so much, I am so lucky to have her! We made pork chops on the bone, home made mac and cheese, green beans, brussel sprouts with cream sherry sauce. Then Shirley got there and we finished up cooking and had a wonderful dinner. It was such an amazing day. I am so blessed to have such amazing family! I love them so much.

Visit to Texas!

We had such an amazing time in Texas!! We went to the Gaylord and stayed the night Sunday. We went and saw ICE! it was so amazing! Everything was made out of tons and tons of ice. It was freezing! We then had an AMAZING dinner! I seriously have never had Bleu Cheese that was that good, it was imported from Scotland I think. Then it was Christmas time. We then spent the rest of our vacation relaxing and shopping and hanging out. Skye loved Alena so much! They were so cute together. Poor Sarah had the flu and bronchitis so we got to keep Alena with us for awhile. I had so much fun, Texas will always feel like home to me. My pictures are all out of order :/

Skye's 1st airplane ride!

We left for Texas December 22nd and came back December 31. I was SO nervous for Skye's first plane ride. I brought all kinds of food. We got her an Ipod touch for Christmas and we had a bunch of movies put on it, we brought coloring stuff. She did AMAZING!!! Everyone in the airport and on the plane just thought she was so adorable. Everywhere we go no matter where we are at least one person tells us how cute she is (I love it) We sat next to this guy from Louisiana on the way there, he had a cool accent. Skye loved the plane ride. She didn't want her window open. Here's some pictures from our adventure :)
